Tour Details

Horseback Riding

Horseback Riding is the perfect way to see Belize’s remarkable splendour while navigating trails under jungle canopies along with your newest four-legged companion. The Chaa Creek Reserve maintains well-groomed horses suitable for beginners and expert riders. These horses are all bred on the property.

Our guided rides traverse the trails of our 500-acre nature reserve. During your ride you will
pass ancient Maya sites located on the property, spot Disneyesque birds and Howler Monkeys, and travel to an on-property Maya Temple hilltop site to observe El Castillo, neighbouring Xunantunich’s, tallest structure.

Belize Horseback Riding tours are offered twice daily, at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Rides to the Maya Organic Farm may also be arranged.

Whether you’re just out for an afternoon hike or planning a more extensive off the beaten path expedition, our licensed naturalist guides are always ready to tailor your experience.

Tours to our Organic Maya Farm can be arranged either through horseback or RTV Rainforest Safari
